What is Community Solar & Storage?

• Community Solar is a small to mid-size group of solar panels (up to 30 acres) with access to the local electricity grid. The power is produced by the solar panels and then fed into the local power grid. Local residents who are unable to install solar panels on their roofs or prefer not to have the ability to subscribe to a community solar farm to access the benefits of clean energy. 

• Carson Power identifies suitable land for community solar and storage development and oversees all engineering and commercial aspects of development from site control to construction financing. Once construction financing is secured, our team works closely with our construction partners to get these assets off the ground and ensure their smooth operations for years to come.
